Planet Friendly Printing; a new video from Fespa
The FESPA Planet Friendly Video highlights all the environmental
issues facing screen and digital printers (but probably equally
applicable to all printers) and is based on the information in the FESPA
Planet Friendly Printing Guide. Produced by FESPA to make printers
aware of their environmental responsibilities, the video also draws
attention to the need for printers to become "green" since those that
don't may well find that they will lose their customers.
There are so many pressures on printers from customers, shareholders and employees with commercial and legislative drivers to deal with so FESPA produced the Planet Friendly Guide to help printers to understand and meet their obligations. By looking ahead, you're ready to cope with new laws and restrictions; you avoid costs such as wasted energy or paying unnecessary waste fees; you reduce your environmental impact (and possibly carbon footprint); and in so doing you should be able to retain existing business and win new business from increasingly demanding customers.
