What does a consumer pay for when buying a reel of paper?

Answered by: 02/11/2010

As per the weights & measures law, how is the pricing of reel done, is it on gross weight or on nett weight, if on gross weight, why is the cost of wrapper & core included in the price to the customer, when the customer is paying the price for the paper.

I think there are various ways of charging for paper. Two Sides is an organisation concerned with sustainability, so this is a little out of my area of responsibility. Reels can be charged, I believe, by weight, which sometime includes the core, or by meterage of paper. The best person to answer this question is your supplier. Perhaps I can put you in touch with the right person if you provide more details?
