In an article in the March / April 2011 edition of Paper 360, Kathi Rowzie wrote an interesting and thought-provoking article on carbon life cycle analysis. She focussed on the recent collaboration between Verso paper and the National Geographic Society. The two organisations recently partnered in a life cycle assessment to measure the carbon footprint of National Geographic magazine, which is printed on paper manufactured at Verso’s

Androscoggin Mill in Maine.
