Two Sides US team up with What They Think? Website
Two Sides US continue to educate and inform consumers.

WhatTheyThink's Going Green has joined forces with Two Sides US to help address the "perceptions" that paper destroys forests, that electronic media are "greener" than print and paper, and that recycling is the solution to all environmental ills.

According to a March 2012 survey called "Decision Dynamics 2011, Technology and Media," conducted by Doremus and the Financial Times, business executives continue to consume media in printed formats, or at the very least in a mix of print and digital media. To wit: when reading general business magazines, 56% of respondents stick mostly to print, while 20% consume a mix of print and digital.

Why should you care?

Likewise, the survey found, when reading industry magazines, 52% read print and another 20% read a mix of both print and digital formats. For all the timeliness and convenience of online media--and publications available, either via an app, or through mobile Internet sites, for iPads and iPhones--print is still a preference for many readers. Now, of course, "executives" implies a somewhat older readership, and while a preference for electronic media is not necessarily age-specific, there is a very strong generational component in a preference for non-print. However this is little to do with environmental reasons, and much to do with having grown up immersed in technology and digital media.
