PEFC are thrilled to announce its first live event in over two years.
“We are delighted to support our colleagues at PEFC Ireland who are hosting PEFC’s first Members’ Meeting since 2019. Our members from all over the world will finally gather in Dublin in May for a long overdue catch-up. The highlight of the week is to be a day-long Stakeholder Dialogue that is open to all. It will take place at a lovely hotel on the coast – the Royal Marine Hotel, in beautiful Dun Laoghaire, the gateway to Dublin – on Thursday 12th May.
The theme of the day – Climate Change Mitigation: Winning with Wood – is how forests and wood-based products have a central role to play in climate change mitigation, which is vital if we are to meet our Net Zero Goals. We have assembled an exciting range of expert speakers covering the whole value chain from forest to consumer.
The day will close with a drinks reception at the Royal Irish Yacht Club where participants will be able to meet the speakers, PEFC colleagues from all over the world and Board members from PEFC International, UK and Ireland.
I very much hope you will be able to join us at this lovely venue for what we hope will be a very informative day.” Hilary Khawam, Communications and Marketing Director of PEFC UK.
