Two Sides will be speaking at the EU Ecolabel for Printed Paper Products Seminar at UPM Shotton Mill in North Wales on Wednesday 25th September 2013 and would like to formally extend an invitation to our networks!
Two Sides will be speaking at the EU Ecolabel for Printed Paper Products Seminar, which is a free event open to a wide range of stakeholders; Printers, Paper Distributors, Brand Owners and Environmental Consultants. Expert knowledge and advice will be provided by a diverse range of speakers representing; CPI, BPIF, Cynergia, Tunven/DEFRA, UPM and Two Sides.
But isn't the EU Ecolabel for Printed Products just another Ecolabel costing you more time and more money? There are strong arguments that suggest this is not the case and the objective is for attendees to leave the event satisfied that they can make a solid business case for supporting EU Ecolabel going forward.
The EU Ecolabel
The EU Ecolabel helps you identify products and services that have a reduced environmental impact throughout their life cycle, from the extraction of raw material through to production, use and disposal. Recognised throughout Europe, EU Ecolabel is a voluntary label promoting environmental excellence which can be trusted.
Organization
The European Commission through an EU Ecolabel project and in association with BPIF, CPI, UPM and EU Ecolabel Delivery are holding a workshop on the EU Ecolabel for Printed Paper Products on the 25th of September 2013.
The workshop addresses the paper and printing industry and in particular the role of the EU Ecolabel within the printed paper product group. Participants will be informed about the criteria, the application process, benefits of the EU Ecolabel, trends in both the private and public sectors, and use of the EU Ecolabel in GPP and marketing. Participants will also get an insight of UPMs environmental and social policies as well as actions towards realising these policies, and in particular regarding the role of the EU Ecolabel in UPM. Speakers from BPIF and CPI will also present their views on the environmental state of the print and paper industry.
Please come along to listen, ask questions and join the debate with your industry peers.
